Still available?

All still available, had a few people from other forums say they want bits, but then they either go quiet, or make a stupid offer!

What do you class as a stupid offer?

Yes we like Trekker gear as it is a good way of getting a decent height. Many Trekker owners slam their cars so the parts then become available.

We dont pay 'fashion tax' on our dubs. Our Baja's are more function than 'pretty'

Be realistic with the price and they will sell. Many people on this forum have made their own raised spindles etc. Idea

Well one clown wanted to take 2 good gearboxes away, both with axles and reduction hubs attached, and one had complete brakes on too. Also came with trekker torsion bars, spring plates, and all the necessary bits to attach it all. He expected me to take £100. Ive seen people ask £60 for a single good gearbox, so i thought £100 for the lot in good condition was pretty much taking the piss?!

Prob best to just name a price for each and take it from there. If I see a add which says make an offer I always get tempted to take the piss ....... But I do resist, simply because you never know you may get it cheap if the guy really just wants to clear the decks. Whenever I sell something I'll name a price, Normally what it owe's me, I don't set out to make bags of money from like-minded people, and they either sell or don't but at least it gives me an idea that I may need to reconsider pricing being too high. But hey that's just me. All I'm saying amongst my drivel is, name a price to make a sale. thumb

AS Paul said, you have to be realistic. We (Baja folk) are buying the "dregs & scraps" that the mainstream don't want, cast-offs which will get used, abused and broken fairly quickly, so we aren't going to pay top dollar for them. That said, £100 for two boxes hub to hub, one with brakes, is micheal taking. I sold a complete box for a lot more than that, so hold out dude but bear in mind that we don't have the competition like the "mainstream" for parts, demand is not so high and we all too often get people trying to sell Trekker bits for vastly over inflated prices because "They're rare, init?".

My advice is hang on until after VW Action when someone is bound to break a gearbox thumb
